Apple pie is as much a part of America as the eagle and the stars and stripes. Something about that sweet sticky apple cinnamon smell and crispy crust... Fourth of July, Memorial Day, birthdays, it's a dish best served hot and on great occasions or just Sunday. And how about some vanilla ice cream please? Down here in Texas we've got Blue Bell (best ever!) and most likely you've got your own favorite. Ok enough nostalgia - let's eat some pie!
